A backorder is a product requested by a customer that is not currently available in your Truck inventory. Backorders are treated as a high priority, as they represent items the customer has specifically ordered and are awaiting fulfilment.
A backorder can be created as part of an invoice, or as part of a partially fulfilled order. For example, if a customer requests 10 WestCoast Alcove units but you only have 5 available in your inventory, the remaining 5 units would be placed on backorder.
